Think you have what it takes to butcher your own deer? Fancy stocking up the meat freezer while you are at it?
This private day course takes you through the whole process of deer butchery from skinning the deer to sectioning the meat and then making the cuts.
When you have finished your butchery we will fry up some of the prime fillet for you to taste for your hard work on the job while we package up the rest of your deer ready for you to take home.
This course fee covers the cost of the deer as well as the course itself and all packaging materials included so it’s all yours to take home with you when you are done.
This course is best enjoyed with a small group of up to 3 people maximum (you will all have plenty of meat to take home with you when you are done from 1 fallow/red (30 – 100kg)
The course will be run by our Game Butchery branch Ethical Game which is located at the Sustainable Life Base Stirchley (more information on your course will be provided upon booking).

The minimum upfront payment for this course is £200. This does not include the cost of the deer which will vary depending on the weight we get in for the course. Payment for the cost of the deer is due prior to the course date, as soon as weight is confirmed.
Cost of a deer can be between £70 – £200 depending on size. Please let us know your budget so we can source an appropriate size deer for your course.
