Are you a local community group, organisation, friends group, charity or just someone with access to land and an interest in learning more? If you are not sure what you have on your site and you want to find out more we can help.
We will walk through your site and record the plant species present and provide you with a written report afterwards so you know what you’ve got on site at that time. It’s a great way of creating a snapshot of your site so you can work on improving your biodiversity, or finding out if your project has had a positive effect on biodiversity. You can also use it just to learn more about your own site and help inform your woodland management plans, maintenance, habitat creation or community projects in the future. Its a wonderful tool for funders, the community, or yourself!
We will also highlight invasive pest species and mark them down on a map for you.
For a more complete idea of the species present on your site we recommend at least 2 walks in different seasons – Spring and Early Autumn ideally.
Please note that we will not include grasses in our report.
Your site must be within the Birmingham area or we may charge an additional travel fee.
