Description
Wild Herb Medicine Experience Workshop
Step into the world of natural remedies with a hands-on foraging and herbal medicine experience. Guided by an expert, you’ll explore the local landscape in search of wild herbs—learning how to identify edible and medicinal plants that have been used for centuries to support health and wellbeing.
During the walk, you’ll be introduced to a variety of seasonal herbs and their traditional uses. You’ll then choose five key plants to take back with you, where we’ll dive deeper into their identification features, medicinal properties, and benefits. Using books and reference materials, you’ll solidify your learning and gain the confidence to recognise these plants again in the wild.
The workshop will also introduce you to practical herbal techniques:
-
Methods of preserving fresh herbs
-
How to extract and prepare their active medicinal properties
-
Ways to incorporate them safely into everyday life
By the end, you’ll leave not just with knowledge, but with a deeper connection to the plants growing around you and the skills to begin your own herbal journey.
